Libra Season | Aries Full Moon

The word of Libra season is balance.

And if that word bothers you, if it’s one that you dislike or that rubs you the wrong way then let me be the one to tell you it’s because you have a skewed definition of the word.

Balance is not a destination. It is not a place you arrive to and then suddenly from that point forward your life is always in balance and never disharmonious again. That’s incongruent with the way life works and is complete bullshit.

It’s also why we struggle with balance.

Balance is an act. It is an interaction inward and outward.

It is in making the decisions which are in alignment with the core state you wish your life to be. And if you are struggling with patterns of making choices dissimilar with that feeling it’s about healing the part of you that secretly wants the results of your actions.

It’s about not resisting but rather opening to what is unfolding around you.

It’s not about resisting paying that unexpected expense that comes up knowing that resistance leads us to fearing not having enough resources and worrying about what will happen. Opening to this experience reminds us that once we pay this expense we are then free to begin saving to replace those funds and build onward from there.

It’s not about resisting the ending of a relationship. This causes us to cling to someone who may not be right for us and often results in our holding onto someone and something who is not suitable for who we are becoming. When we let go we are free to heal and to open to a relationship that will meet us at the level we are at now.

Balance is the ability to open to what is happening around us and learning to maintain within the tide.

And balance not always absolute.

Outwardly your life may be in order while inwardly you are an emotional mess and vice versus.

Balance is a constant act. It’s a ride. It’s a state. And like all states it’s not constant but in motion. It’s the way we move within that motion that determines if we feel balanced or not. And best of all is that balance is self-defined.

Amplifying this energy of balance is the Full Moon in Aries on September 24th.

There is an energy of agency to this transit reminding us of the independence that allows us to approach our lives in our own unique way. Aries is fiercely independent and is not interested in becoming dependent upon others. Hell, they struggle to find equilibrium between their own needs and the needs of those in their orbit. Aries prefers to be the lone wolf who saunters out in the world unfettered or influenced by what is popular, expected or acceptable.

Aries do it their way.

Aries is willing to take risks and are unafraid of telling you exactly what they want and how they want it. They don’t have the time to beat around the bush because they are constantly on the hunt.

The Full Moon on Monday, September 24th is our invitation to take a risk. To make the leap. To get on our game and start making shit happen. It doesn’t matter what we are doing. It doesn’t matter if we feel we have everything we need. What matters is that we trust enough in what we are doing and what we can do to take the risk.

Our inner fire will be lit. Its ready to fuel our way forward so long as we allow it. See the wonderful thing about Aries is that they often leap before thinking. They jump and trust that they will land with their feet on the ground. They remind me in many ways of the Fool card in Tarot. They can be consumed with their own personal mission and can seem foolish in their pursuit of what we often see as the impossible and yet they often get exactly what they are after. They seldom are left wanting.

This transit opens the door for us to see the path forward. To not get caught up in our relentless analysis but to instead leap and trust. Let others opine. Now is your chance to prove that the impossible is in fact possible.
